Jooz never rests. As a resident MC, you'll find Jooz at popular Groningen parties like Roodkopje and Vunzige Deuntjes. In the program Strandgasten with Nick & Simon, he hosted a hip-hop masterclass and performed a song for his mother with Lakshmi, Goldband, and Nick & Simon. He graced various stages, from the intimate Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam to Noorderzon Groningen, where he turned the Callisto tent upside down. With his debut album Maluku Boeren Saus he managed to inform, shock, and inspire a broad audience. This album includes his viral Spoken Word Chapter 6 Molukse Geschiedenis and contributions from Memru Renjaan and Kraantje Pappie.
But Jooz isn't just a stage animal. Through inspiring masterclasses and workshops on spoken word and rap, he stimulates language development and encourages thousands of young people to pursue their dreams. As a true bridge builder, Jooz has already taught in various youth detention centers.
