Rijker dan een miljonair

with Madelinde Hageman en Tina Lenz

Fear of poverty: it's a feeling everyone knows. Yet, it's not easy to talk about. Because what does it mean to feel poor or rich? And does it always relate to having or not having money? When do you truly feel richer than a millionaire?

Rijker dan een Miljonair is an artistic program by social designer Madelinde Hageman and design anthropologist Tina Lenz. Participants express their personal perception of poverty and wealth collectively through radical imagination. At Blikopener Festival you get the chance to express emotional capital through a mobile printing press.

Together with people from various layers of society, Madelinde and Tina approach this issue visually, shedding light on poverty and wealth from a new perspective. In doing so, they aim to challenge the social paradigm in the Netherlands.
