Bakkerij de eenvoud

Hongerige Wolf & Omstreken and Stoet & Ainvoud

A mobile bakery as a place to literally knead, let rise, and bake ideas. In 2012, artist Peik Suylin built a wood-fired clay oven in his lunch wagon. The idea? To seek simplicity and a space to create. Because in the fast-paced, complex society, it's sometimes nice to return to simplicity.

This idea of the mobile Bakkerij de Eenvoud proved to have a special appeal to both young and old. Wherever it goes, the Bakery forms a place for meeting and exchange. During bread-making together, small and big conversations arise. From personal stories to societal themes, everything is discussed. Here, people truly get to know each other.

Meanwhile, Bakkerij de Eenvoud has become a collective of eight bakeries nationwide. Sharing experiences, inspiring each other, and shaping society together. BBakkerij de Eenvoud connects people and makes topics in society discussable.

At the Blikopener Festival, Bakkerij de Eenvoud participates with the two Groningen bakeries from the collective: Bakkerij Hongerige Wolf en Omstreken from Hongerige Wolf and Bakkerij Stoet en Ainvoud from Pieterburen.
